A unisex statement ring in a class of its own from 1969.
Björn Weckström shaped the style, character and image of Lapponia Jewelry. The artist and designer established jewelry with a sculptural character - his “miniature works of art” - not only in the Finnish jewelry scene, but also found and still finds enthusiastic followers and buyers worldwide.
Probably the best-known piece of Weckström’s jewelry is the necklace Planetoid Valleys which Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) wore in George Lucas film Star Wars in 1977. That Necklace was designed for Lapponia in 1969.
