Large vintage meerschaum pipe, age unknown, in our family for over 50 years. The meerschaum pipe is in very good condition with minor signs of use due to its age. It is unsmoked and has never been used, was a showcase piece. However, it has been “smoked” for test purposes and for functionality
Most pipes of this kind are shorter 11 or 12 cm, ours is 17 cm.
Materials: Block - meerschaum, amber-colored mouthpiece, unknown material.

A meerschaum pipe is a smoking pipe made from the mineral Sepiolite, also known as meerschaum. Meerschaum is sometimes found on the Black Sea and is reminiscent of sea foam.
