This miniature shows the Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich and is an original copperplate engraving from around 1870 and hand-colored.
The frame is genuine gold gilded and very pretty, although it shows signs of wear.
The engraving is in very good condition.
However, in my opinion the picture should be opened from the frame in order to replace the passe-partout. The passe-partout has some age-related wear marks. See photos.
